Founded in 1788, the family business KLUGESHERZ is located in Soultz-les-Bains, a small village in the North East of France.
Jean-Luc and his wife VĂ©ronique are the 8th generation of bakers and perpetuate their know-how in the purest Alsatian tradition.
Both are great travelers and the discovery of India, their love at first sight for this country gave rise to a new adventure. Thanks to his many trips Jean Luc could discover new flavors and combine them with his recipes while keeping the authenticity of French products.
As a result Mr.Jean luc, Mr.Alain Phan & Mr.Lutz Bergerhoff jointly opened a shop in Pondicherry called "Baker Street".
The company has a great team managed by a Francopondicherienne Ejilmady, who has already worked for 20 years as a baker-pastry in France. Baker Street produces daily fresh bread, pastries, savory dishes, desserts, chocolates, ice cream and other delicacies.
The production team is regularly trained and follow up by Mr.Jean Luc Klugesherz, Executive Chef to sustain that French traditional taste forever.
